I've been going to The Cliff since I moved to Laguna Beach in 2008, but my connection goes back even further. I remember walking by it as a kid when my grandparents lived in town. Over the years, Laguna Beach has changed dramatically, but The Cliff remains one of those familiar landmarks that continues to draw people in.

Part of its appeal is simple. The location is hard to beat. Sitting just steps from downtown Laguna Beach, it offers sweeping ocean views, outdoor dining, and some of the best people watching in town. Whether you're grabbing breakfast, enjoying a weekday lunch, or stopping in for a holiday mimosa, it's easy to understand why it remains busy throughout the year!

A feature that often gets overlooked is the live music and social atmosphere. The bar area remains a popular gathering spot, especially during happy hour and sunset. They even offer a local shuttle service for nearby guests who want to enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving home.

What keeps me coming back is that The Cliff still feels like classic Laguna Beach. It's casual enough for a weekday meal, special enough for visiting friends and family, and offers some of the best ocean views available without needing a reservation months in advance.

In a town where restaurants come and go, The Cliff has proven remarkably resilient. Whether you're a longtime local or visiting Laguna Beach for the first time, it's one of those places worth experiencing at least once. Chances are you'll find yourself coming back.
